NPR's Marketplace show recently described the antique furniture market as “a bargain” in the segment Your Cherished Antique May Not Be Very Valuable.
One thing that we find at our total estate sales around Tampa Bay is that savvy shoppers, dealers and decorators are taking advantage of today's values while they last.
An elegant pier mirror, stylish 1940s mahogany corner cabinet and like-new, current style rattan bedroom furniture were a few of the furniture pieces found at our recent total estate sale in Largo. With a large condo full, shoppers came from all over Tampa Bay for the deals.
We know that our shoppers see what we see: quality furniture pieces at about 1/3 of the prices they would pay for the same thing in a store. The sheer volume in many houses means that wonderful furniture pieces which do not sell on the first day of the sale go for as little as 15 cents on the dollar on the last day.
With so many deals on houses full of quality furniture, Tampa Bay Total Estate Sales has furnished many other homes for our shoppers. If you are starting a new home, buying for resale or just tired of your worn out stuff, there is no need to pay furniture store prices...the real bargains are at the estate sales.
